30?
This is Jared's "Audi" cake. Those of you who know my husband know of his love for Audi's and his passion for taking apart/putting together Audi's.
Today Jared's brother Devin and his family came up and helped us finish off his birthday celebration.
Happy Birthday Honey, thanks for being a great husband and father.

Better late than never
Morgans Birthday was over a month ago and I am now getting around to blogging about it. My little Princess is now 4. For her birthday, we just kept it simple. We opened presents, had cake and ice cream, went to McDonald's and let the kids play on the play land and then we let the kids stay up late and we watched "Tinker Bell" (for the 90th time). It was very simple, but Morgan had fun. Morgan got a memory game from her Grandma and Grandpa S. She loves it, and I am amazed and how good she it at it. She has an incredible memory. Grandma C. made her a twirly skirt that she wears all the time. Any time the radio is on and she wants to dance she has to have one of her twirly skirts on.
I realize that her hair and clothes are different in each picture, but don't let that fool you, they were taken the same day, in fact it was only about 5 minutes apart.
Some thing about Morgan,
*She is very bossy
*She loves to be the "Princess"
*She loves doing school work of any kind.
*She loves to draw/color/stamp/paint/cut/trace. . .
*She has "Attitude"
*She is a super big sister, always looking out for David and Sierra. Don't worry, she doesn't let David get away with anything.
*She is so loving, she always make sure you know how much she loves you!
And we sure love her.

My uncle/friend/example
James Stewart (Jim) Manwill, Jr. "If there wasn't humor in heaven before, there is now." Jim, age 49, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2010 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born June 26, 1960 to J. Stewart and Mary Jean Manwill. Served an LDS mission in Portland, Oregon. Married his wife, Sandra Grijalva Lara, in 1983 in the Salt Lake Temple. Was a real estate agent for 29 years. Well-known for his sense of humor, random acts of kindness and work ethic. He loved his family and spent his life in their service. Survived by his wife, Sandra; his four children - Jeremy (21), Daniel (19), Vanessa (15), Ryan (10); mother, Jean Manwill; siblings, Louise Price, Karen Caldwell, Peggy Olson, Linda Brewster and Brent Manwill. Preceded in death by his father. Viewing will be Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Grandview 3rd Ward, 2930 South 2000 East. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at the same location; viewing one hour prior to services. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens. Services in the care of Premier Funeral Services.
Jim was an inspiration to all that knew him. He was kind, funny, sensitive and loving. He was a great example to me of service and love. He was so amazing that the Lord took him from his mortal existence because he was needed more on the other side. I know Jim is already hard at work in heaven. His death is not the end, it is merely a mission farewell. I love you Jim, God be with you til we meet again.

One for the Books
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
