Brand New ME!!!

Over the past few weeks, I have been feeling rather bland. I have had many attempts so try and spuce things up, but to no avail. So today I was feeling a little sassy and brave so i went and got a brand new look!

Here is the before and after.

I don't know if its all that different, but its new and exciting, and just what I needed.

Family Time

I have been slacking off on my blogging the last month, so I will update on all the fun activities we have done.

The first week in August, my family (Dad, Mom, Jesse and Brittany) came out to visit! We Crammed all eight of us in our little house. The whole week we were stepping on each other and climbing over beds and blankets.
We spent some time outdoors as well! One day we went to wild waves. We took turns taking Morgan and David in the wave pool, which Morgan loved, and going down the water slides and on the rides. We enjoyed a delicious, but very expensive, chili cheese fry, and the Sunshine(which doesn't come out to often)!

The next day we drove 3 hours to get to the coast, where they were having a sand sculpting contest. There were some VERY amazing sculptures. Its incredible what you can do with sand.

Can you believe that, that's just sand. . WOW!

Despite the cold wind and the even COLDER temperature of the water, the kids (Jesse Brittany, Morgan and David) all went for a swim. Crazy? . . . I think so!


I took advantage of my sibling being here, I had Jesse go workout and play tennis with me, and Brittany and I went running a few times.

We really enjoyed having them here, and can't wait for their next visit!
