The Joys of Pregnancy

I am now at that point in my pregnancy when nothing fits. Every morning I stand in front of my closet and stare at all my clothes hoping that something has changed and I will find something that fits me. Every day I am disappointed and end up wearing one of two sweatshirts.

I am a lot smaller starting off this pregnancy then with either of the others, which is nice except that now my maternity clothes from the last two don't fit either (not even in the bust). I hate spending so much on clothes that I'm only going to wear for just a few months. So if anyone has some small maternity clothes that they are wanting to get rid of, I would be happy to take them off your hands, or if anyone knows a good place to get cheap maternity clothes that would be great as well.

Just for the record that is not a picture of me.

Halleluiah

About a year ago Jared started a project. We remodeled our bathroom and portion of our bedroom. There was this ugly desk in the corner that seemed to serve no purpose. Jared tore it out and started building a bookcase. A year has now gone by and I am happy to say that yesterday he finally finished it! It's so nice not having his tools sitting around in my bedroom waiting for him to make the time to work on it. I must admit at first I had my doubts about the whole project. I didn't know how well of a job he would do, or if he would ever finish. He proved me wrong (even though it did end up taking a really long time) and completed this beautiful bookcase.

He did such a great job, I couldn't be happier with it. It's so nice to have a great handy man around, it's even nicer when the stuff actually get done.

Big Kids

My kids are growing up way to fast. Every time I turn around they are doing something new or getting a little bit bigger.

David was born grown up. He was never just a baby. He has never been a cuddler, he's always to busy. He was crawling at 5 months, walking at 9 months and now at 19 months he is. . . . . In a Big Boy Bed.
He kept climbing out of his crib, so I decided it was time to make the transition. I thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to keep him in his bed, but it has been surprisingly easy. I just have to lay with him for a few minutes and he's out.

He is just growing up way to fast. He is now in a big bed, he uses a big chair at the table, and swings on the big swings.

(this is a classic David face)

And, he no longer needs a nap (which is kind of a bummer but makes bed time really easy), a bottle, or diapers!!
OK he's still in diapers, but here's to hoping.

Now that my boy is getting bigger he has started to be a Mommas boy and he LOVES to cuddle (I love it too).

I just love this little guy.

Morgan is also growing up a at a very rapid rate. Yesterday she started Preschool!!!

She just turned 3, and she was getting so bored at home all the time. I called a preschool that is down the street and they happened to have one opening, so I jumped at the chance. I took her for her first day thinking that she was going to cling to me and not let me leave, boy was I wrong. We walked in and off she went. She never even looked back. She had so much fun she keeps asking when she gets to go back.
She is such a sweet little girl.

As for the little one growing inside me, he/she is growing very fast as well. If I"m real still I can feel a little movement going on. I told Morgan there was a baby in my tummy, so she lifted up my shirt and said "Hi baby." She keeps asking when the baby is going to come out. She says "When the baby comes I'm going to rock it and sing to it." Only 4 weeks til we find out what I'm having!

I really love being a mother. Of course it has its trying times when you wonder if your going to make it through, but at the end of the day being a mother is the greatest blessing ever. Motherhood, that's what it's all about!

Picture Tag

I was supposed to pick the 4th picture in the 4th folder of my pictures.
This picture was taken in June of 2007. We went to Utah for a family Reunion and for Jared's brother's wedding. Morgan was one of the flower girls. This is one of my favorite pictures of Morgan, she has such a cute baby face.
Here is the bride and all the flower girls, I don't think they got a single shot with all of them looking at the camera (or any for that matter).
Morgan holding her flower, she was so little.

We haven't had any weddings in mine or Jared's family since then, . . . I think it's about time (hint, hint).

Birthday Girl

My little baby girl is 3 years old. I guess time really does fly when your having fun. Everybody always says "Enjoy them while their little because they grow up way to fast." I never knew how true that was until I put my 3 month old baby to bed one night and she woke up the next day a 3 year old little girl (at least that's what it feels like).

For her birthday we invited Morgan's nursery class for a little party. We had it in the gym at the church. I had play doh, coloring and balloons to keep the kids entertained. Then we had a pinata, cake and ice cream. It turned out to be very nice, the kids had fun, and it wasn't to much stress on my part.
(I wish I could take credit for this BEAUTIFUL cake, but I can't. A special thanks goes to my good Friend Carissa.)
Yesterday for her actual birthday, I took her out to breakfast, we got her finger and toenails painted, and then watched a movie (Morgan's choice) as a family.

Morgan is such a sweet little girl, and I am so blessed to have her in my life.

She is such a little mother. She always keeps David in line, along with Jared and I. Over Christmas we spent some time with the Stoker family, where Jared and his brother (Josh) were wrestling. Morgan came up to me and said "Mom, Josh is not being nice, we don't push!" She was so concerned that Josh was not playing nice and that "Daddy" might be getting hurt.

She is always so willing to help out, any time she is asked to "get a diaper" or "pick up her toys" she always says "OK" and gets right to it.

She is such a girly girl. She loves to have her hair done and be dressed cute with the matching bows and shoes (that is when she's not running around in her underwear).

She is such a happy girl, she loves to laugh and smile and can always make everyone around her smile :)
My little Morgan is all around a sweet and loving little girl. She brings so much happiness into my life and to our family.

New Calling

I just got called to be the Beehive Advisor. I am completely freaked out and clueless on what to do and how to do it. Does anyone have any words of wisdom or some great advice?

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
