Big Kids

My kids are growing up way to fast. Every time I turn around they are doing something new or getting a little bit bigger.

David was born grown up. He was never just a baby. He has never been a cuddler, he's always to busy. He was crawling at 5 months, walking at 9 months and now at 19 months he is. . . . . In a Big Boy Bed.
He kept climbing out of his crib, so I decided it was time to make the transition. I thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to keep him in his bed, but it has been surprisingly easy. I just have to lay with him for a few minutes and he's out.

He is just growing up way to fast. He is now in a big bed, he uses a big chair at the table, and swings on the big swings.

(this is a classic David face)

And, he no longer needs a nap (which is kind of a bummer but makes bed time really easy), a bottle, or diapers!!
OK he's still in diapers, but here's to hoping.

Now that my boy is getting bigger he has started to be a Mommas boy and he LOVES to cuddle (I love it too).

I just love this little guy.

Morgan is also growing up a at a very rapid rate. Yesterday she started Preschool!!!

She just turned 3, and she was getting so bored at home all the time. I called a preschool that is down the street and they happened to have one opening, so I jumped at the chance. I took her for her first day thinking that she was going to cling to me and not let me leave, boy was I wrong. We walked in and off she went. She never even looked back. She had so much fun she keeps asking when she gets to go back.
She is such a sweet little girl.

As for the little one growing inside me, he/she is growing very fast as well. If I"m real still I can feel a little movement going on. I told Morgan there was a baby in my tummy, so she lifted up my shirt and said "Hi baby." She keeps asking when the baby is going to come out. She says "When the baby comes I'm going to rock it and sing to it." Only 4 weeks til we find out what I'm having!

I really love being a mother. Of course it has its trying times when you wonder if your going to make it through, but at the end of the day being a mother is the greatest blessing ever. Motherhood, that's what it's all about!

Your kids are so adorable! My little girl is about the same age as your little boy :)

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
