Spring Break

For Spring Break we went with my whole Family to Escalante State Park, in Southern Utah. Right by our camp site was a huge boulder and the side of the mountain that the kids had so much fun playing on. They climbed up and down for hours each day. They collected rocks and cactus quills.

The first day we just did a simple quick hike right by our camp site. It was super windy. But the kids had fun finding petrified wood.

We went to another place, I can't remember the name, but it was like a smaller version of Goblin Valley. The kids had fun climbing on the red rock and playing in the tunnels and caves.

One of the days we went and hiked a slot canyon. It was a lot of fun. It was definitely  a team effort. There were some places where we had to take off our back packs to fit through. Jared was carrying Jacob on his back and had to hold his above his head to fit through. The kids absolutely loved it, and I was surprised at what troopers they were. Even Sierra climbed the whole thing by herself, she didn't want any help. When we got to the top we stopped and ate our picnic before we headed back through the other side.

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
